Hi, I’m Shannon
I'm a content creator, photographer, and writer with a journalist's eye and a comedian's timing.
For more than a decade, I've helped brands and publications tell their stories through photography, video, and writing across food, culture, fashion, and lifestyle.
I earned my BA in Communications, Journalism, and Media Production from Flagler College and began my career as an Associate Producer at WJCT, Jacksonville's NPR and PBS affiliate. From there, I wrote, produced, and created content for local and national brands including J.Crew, UNIQLO, Real Simple, Plant People, Uncle Matt's Organic, and the American Culinary Federation.
I spent nearly seven years at the historic, nonprofit Florida Theatre in Downtown Jacksonville, where I rose to the role of Marketing Director and managed creative and content for hundreds of events each year. I led social media and content for Native Sun Natural Foods. I most recently served as Editor-in-Chief of Edible Northeast Florida, where I directed editorial, social, and video content for one of the region's most beloved food and culture magazines.
What ties it all together is a love of making things people genuinely want to look at, read, and share. Whether I'm styling a recipe shoot, directing a video, writing copy, or building a brand's voice, I bring a strong point of view and real care to the craft.
I'm currently available for freelance work, content creation, and brand partnerships, and I'm open to new opportunities.
