Native Sun Natural Foods

I built the content engine for one of Northeast Florida's beloved natural grocers, turning everyday grocery items into crave-worthy content that brands across the country wanted to share.
As Social Media Specialist for Native Sun Natural Foods, a natural and organic grocer with three Northeast Florida locations, I owned content and marketing across Instagram, Facebook, the blog, the website, and the email newsletter. I produced, shot, and edited all photography and video; developed and styled original recipes; filmed DIY and recipe videos; and published content across all channels. I scheduled and directed photoshoots, designed weekly emails, managed the website, promoted sale items, and created giveaways that drove engagement and foot traffic across all three stores.
During my time at Native Sun, I helped grow the brand's Instagram following from 3,000 to 13,800 by delivering consistent, original content. I also worked closely with the Marketing Director and Art Director on photography and the launch of the Native Sun app, art-directing many of my own shoots while collaborating on overall creative direction and final image selection. I helped launch Native Sun on both the app and Instacart, expanding how customers could shop and engage with the brand.
The part I'm proudest of: the content I created didn't just live on Native Sun's channels. It was picked up and reshared by some of the most recognized names in natural food and wellness, including Uncle Matt's Organic, Cascadian Farm, Annie's, Badger, Woodstock Foods, Derma E, Siggi's, Malk Organics, Bonafide Provisions, Hail Merry, Chameleon Cold Brew, Beyond Meat, Lilly's Hummus, Mineral Fusion, Zevia, Tres Agaves, Happy Family Organics, Late July, Cocokind, Dr. Bronner's, Badia Spices, Bell & Evans, and VerMints. I also partnered with influencers to create and share content shot in-store.
Highlight: I named and developed a signature smoothie, the Duval Teal We Die, made with blue spirulina as a nod to Jacksonville's football pride. It became the centerpiece of a full print campaign.
