Producing - "Bury Me in Virginia" Folk is People
In 2016, I was lucky enough to be a production assistant for this music video shoot for Folk is People. Below are some behind-the-scenes photos, the music video, and more information about the song/album.
"Bury Me in Virginia" by Folk is People from The Devil Always Comes album.
The song is "Bury Me in Virginia." It is an autobiographical account of how Stacey's sweet mom, who is not a procrastinator, decided to buy her a burial plot in Culpeper, Virginia when she was seven.
The video is highly quirky and heavily inspired by Wes Anderson's work. It depicts several of Stacey's failed attempts to return to Virginia to die after a phony tarot card reader presents her with the Death card.
