After earning her BA in Communication at Flagler College, Shannon began her career as an Associate Producer at Jacksonville’s local NPR and PBS affiliate, WJCT.

Following her time at WJCT, Shannon wrote, produced, and created content for local and national organizations, like J.Crew, Real Simple, Jacksonville Magazine, UNIQLO, Plant People, the American Culinary Federation, and more.

Shannon served as the Social Media Manager at Native Sun Natural Foods and held several roles at the historic nonprofit Florida Theatre, where she dedicated seven years.

She is now Editor-in-Chief of Edible NE Florida.
